Armourcoat Clay Lime Plaster, Clime, longlisted in Dezeen Awards 2023
Dezeen Awards, in partnership with Bentley Motors, is celebrating outstanding achievements in architecture, interiors, and design from around the globe. The longlists have been selected from a pool of over 4,800 entries spanning 94 countries, making this year’s awards program one of the most competitive and far-reaching yet.
Naturally sustainable, Clime, has achieved IAC Gold status by incorporating abundant natural materials such as unfired clay, marble, limestone, and hydraulic lime making it 100 per cent cement and VOC free, biodegradable and recyclable.
Due to the material’s versatility, it can be used in both homes and commercial buildings, withstanding the demands of busy interiors. Clime is beautifully aesthetic, bringing the outside in through its earthy natural pigments and textures. By gaining EPD classification, Armourcoat remains dedicated to its mission to improve the quality of living and working interiors whilst minimising the impact on the environment.
Clime is one of 93 sustainability projects that are in the running to win an award later this year in the sustainability categories.
