Surface Design Show, London – 2026

We unveiled our latest material showcase at this year’s Surface Design Show, aiming to inspire a fresh mindset in sustainable design and promote environmentally positive changes across architectural interiors. At Business Design Centre, Islington, London, 03 – 05 February, 2026.

Sustainable Luxury – Material Showcase

A carefully curated selection of hand-applied textural finishes conveyed the inherent beauty of Earth’s geological features in a nature inspired palette of rich earthy tones paired with with warm neutrals and natural greens, including:

Warm Neutrals: Warm beige and soft natural taupe and pink tones, creating a clean yet inviting base.

Rich Earthy Tones: Terracotta and warm clay tones, adding gentle sun-baked warmth.

Nature GreensMuted sage to deeper natural green tones, instilling a restful, gentle ambience.

All made using natural mineral pigments, in a variety of textured finishes – delivering a range of consciously crafted materials that introduce depth and interest to architectural interiors.

Raw Earth – Clay Lime Plaster

Also featured on this year’s stand were bespoke surfaces from our recently launched Raw Earth collection, made using our natural Clay Lime Plaster surface and hand-applied to deliver a unique, textural aesthetic that captures the timeless beauty of natural earthen interiors.

Blending artisanal craft with a sophisticated expression of contemporary design, our new Rammed Earth and Carved Earth finishes honour the texture, tone, and tactility of raw earth architecture; highlighting the sustainable beauty of natural plaster surfaces via a curated selection of earth inspired textures and tones.

Natural Plaster Finishes

From silky smooth to raw and rough, our natural mineral plaster surfaces displayed at this year’s event placed a spotlight on the diverse aesthetic of Armourcoat’s sustainable luxury finishes – including our seamless Acoustic Plaster, designed to enable the creation of unique and healthy interior spaces. Highlights included:

Rammed Earth: Organically layered, deeply textured finish with a raw aesthetic

Acoustic: Seamless acoustic plaster system with powerful sound absorption

Granite: Rough-hewn textured finish with a deep coarse aesthetic

Leatherstone: Mid-sheen finish with the patina of worn leather

Spatulata: Super fine, high-gloss finish with distinct surface depth and sheen

Mineral Tones

Ensuring visual harmony and balance, featured tones on our stand this year included:

Ground Cinnamon: an earthy red-brown tone with natural warmth

Nude Plaster: a soft, warm, earth based tone reminiscent of freshly plastered walls

February Pine: a sophisticated blue green hue, inspired by the colour of pine needles

As with all Armourcoat colours, tones are achieved using natural mineral pigments dictated by what the earth has to offer, comprising contemporary soft neutrals to deeper mineral hues; all hand-applied and presenting their own distinct aesthetic and mood.
