Nestled on the picturesque banks of the Swan River, with panoramic views of the city skyline, Matilda Bay Restaurant is celebrated for its fresh, locally sourced produce and innovative modern Australian cuisine. The venue also showcases the finest local timber, stone, and craftsmanship, reinforcing its strong connection to the region.

Designed by Karlee Boucher of KADA Interior Design, the vibrant new interior is both inviting and sophisticated. A striking Sculptural Plaster feature wall in the ‘Flow Wave’ design makes an immediate statement at the entrance, its flowing contours extending seamlessly into the dining space to create depth and texture. Crafted from precision-engineered GRG (Glass-fibre Reinforced Gypsum) panels, each design is CAD-generated to achieve a continuous pattern or a bespoke decorative effect.

Adding a further layer of elegance with Armourcoat’s Decorative Paint, Perlata, delivers a sophisticated shimmer throughout the space, providing a subtle yet luxurious backdrop to the architectural detailing.

In the ground floor Catalina Room, The Polished Plaster Company have expertly hand-applied Polished Plaster in the finish Travertine to the columns, evoking the natural beauty of travertine stone.
