Armourcoat’s range of naturally sustainable Clay Lime Plaster finishes now includes two new style options: Rammed Earth and Carved Earth – delivering naturally durable wall finishes which honour the texture, tone, and tactility of raw earth architecture.

Rammed Earth and Carved Earth bridge the ancient and the modern, blending artisanal craft with a sophisticated expression of contemporary design. Both finishes offer customisable designs bespoke to every project, delivering a unique, textural aesthetic that captures the timeless beauty of natural earthen interiors.

Armourcoat’s Raw Earth finishes are made in the UK using natural materials, offering inherently durable, low-embodied carbon surfaces for architectural interiors across the world. In keeping with existing Clay Lime Plaster finishes, the latest range additions are formulated using unfired Kaolin clay, natural hydraulic lime, recycled crushed marble, and mineral pigments – supporting the creation of healthy, sustainable interiors with minimal environmental and health impact.

Both finishes are supplied with both Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and Health Product Declaration (HPD) documentation detailing environmental and health impact data, guaranteeing suitability for architectural projects targeting BREEAM or LEED certification.

Raw Earth finishes are fully customisable according to individual project requirements, presenting a dynamic way to introduce material depth and natural tactility into modern interiors. Finishes shown can be tailored in colour, texture and pattern, while new designs can be created to bespoke specifications, supporting the design freedom to create unique surfaces across each and every space.

Rammed Earth delivers a raw natural surface finish with inherent movement and depth, offering the rich stratified look of traditional rammed earth architecture via multiple layers of coarse Clay Lime Plaster. Each layer is individually tinted and applied by skilled artisans to achieve the distinct texture and depth that only hand craftsmanship can deliver.

Every installation is unique, installed by skilled applicators with colours and layout specific to each project.
