Enhancing hybrid workspaces<\/h2> \n

Today\u2019s hybrid working is prompting numerous companies to re-think their office design. They recognize how the physical layout and d\u00e9cor can positively influence the health and wellbeing of employees, leading to better performance.<\/p>\n

Armourcoat was involved in a project with one of the world\u2019s leading premium car manufacturers, which completed a comprehensive re-design and fit-out of its UK head office.<\/p>\n

The aim was to deliver an activity-based working environment where everyone can move around to the most suitable spot to work depending on the time of day and the task at hand\u2014to create a space where employees feel happy to be at work. The 2,000m\u00b2 space across three floors was reconfigured to combine offices, work\/touch-down spaces, and meeting facilities, with a ground-floor reception offering open working areas.<\/p>\n

As part of a more hospitality-based ground-floor collaboration zone, interior design consultant Meda created two distinct lounges, providing spaces where staff could engage with others or work individually, each offering a unique experience of space.<\/p>\n

Perlata<\/a> Decorative Paint in silver was specified for a feature fireplace wall in the ground floor, which also includes two smart screens and helps divide the more public drop-in lounge from a more discreet private zone at the rear.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Understated quality and luxury is inherent in the client\u2019s brand. Alongside that, the client believes that it is essential that the office environment encourages productivity, increases efficiency, and boosts the wellbeing of the staff. The ultimate aim of our feature lounge spaces was to embrace the residential themes that many staff will have become all too familiar with, and by showing that these experiences exist in the workplace, we feel will ultimately help in the transition back into the workplace.<\/p>\n

The rich finish of Perlata and the depth it brings to the wall surface are instrumental in reflecting all those aspirations in the new-look head office. Perlata\u2019s durability and stain resistance also made it a practical choice within a working environment.<\/p>\n\n

When Amrourcoat showed us the Perlata sample, we knew it was the right finish for the reception, bringing an understated yet premium feel, in a colour that mirrored the corporate identity.
